Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce names Hargett Board President

MBCC President, Lea Hargett
Minneapolis, MN (December 14, 2009) The Board of Directors of the Minnesota Black Chamber of Commerce (MBCC) has announced that Lea Hargett, board vice president, will immediately assume the position of president of the board with the retirement of president Barbara Jo Davis. Davis, who is president of Ken Davis Products, has agreed to continue to serve on the MBCC board.
Michael Fondungallah, board secretary and law partner of Fondungallah Essien & Kingham, was appointed interim vice president, and will hold both positions. Dorothy Richburg, CEO of Keystone Computer Solutions, will continue to serve as treasurer.
Hargett has been a member of the MBCC since 2004, and has been an officer since 2006. Hargett, a successful entrepreneur, has launched and run several small businesses. In 2004, she founded JOG Associates, a business consulting firm; from 1999 to 2003, Hargett owned and operated the Mobe Group, a contract manufacturing company in Minneapolis.
